Why did he not show up?

• I don't know. Maybe he thought they were not going to be there, too.
• I don't know. Maybe he does not ever want to see me again.
• I don't know. Maybe he had a legitimate reason to not show up and all he could muster up is "i can't make it tonight..."
• I don't know. Maybe he is just a guy.
• I don't know. Maybe I am tired of making excuses for him.
